The finished flower measures to be about 3.5 in (9 cm) tall.

Materials:

DMC Perle Cotton No. 5
1.50mm Crochet Hook
Scissors
Darning Needle
24 Gauge Floral Wire
Wire Cutter
Needle Nose Pliers
Tacky Glue that dries clear (I’m using Aleene’s Quick Dry Glue)
Optional: Wine Cork for display
Optional: Drill and a 1/8 bit to drill a hole in the cork

TERMINOLOGY USED IN THIS PATTERN

st(s): stitch(es)
ch: chain
sl st: slip stitch
sc: single crochet
tr: treble crochet
inc: two single crochet in one stitch
dec: invisible decrease- single crochet two stitches together through the front loops only
YO: yarn over
BLO: crochet only in the back loops (loop away from you) of each stitch
(…) x #: repeat anything in the parenthesis however many times the number indicates
[#]: total number of stitches for that row
#sc: one sc in the following # stitches
sc#: sc/hdc # times in the next stitch
