Create Louise Belcher’s ugly-cute toy with this printable PDF pattern!

Dodomeki is a toy that belongs to Louise Belcher from the show Bob’s Burgers and is most prominently featured in the episode Flu-ouise (Season 7, Episode 1). PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A DIGITAL ITEM (PDF) FILE AND NOT THE FINISHED ITEM!!

This 7-page crochet pattern contains detailed descriptions and photos to help you create your very own Dodomeki toy and will require you to have crochet knowledge. The pattern is in English and written in US crochet terminology.

Difficulty Level: Intermediate

Materials needed to create a 10 inch (25 cm) tall toy:

  • Paintbox Yarns Cotton Aran in Red Wine, Dusty Lilac, Pale Lilac, Champagne White, Pistachio Green and Pure Black
  • 3.5 mm Crochet Hook
  • Polyfil for stuffing
  • Scissors
  • Darning Needle
  • Pins
  • Locking Stitch Marker

To create this toy, I used Paintbox Yarns Cotton Aran from LoveCrafts; however, you can use any cotton yarn as long as you correspond your hook to the weight of your yarn. For this pattern, I used roughly 90-110g of Dusty Lilac (2-3 skeins of yarn), 10g of Red Wine (< 1 skein), 40g of Pale Lilac (1 skein), 20g of Pistachio Green (< 1 skein), 20g of Champagne White (< 1 skein), and a little bit of Pure Black for the pupils.
