This adorable Yeti is designed to be made with faux fur yarn, which makes it super cuddly and huggable. You can also use acrylic or wool yarn and brush it out for the fur effect as well.
New to Amigurumi? I have some video tutorials for beginners who are new to crochet/amigurumi and you can find them here!
Difficulty Level: Intermediate
The finished Yeti (if you use similar yarn to me) measures to be approximately 9.25 in (23.5 cm) tall.
Materials:
- Faux Fur Yarn* in White – I’m using Bernat Pipsqueak (Bulky 5) in Whitey White.
- Chenille Yarn* – I’m using Hobbii Toucan (Super Bulky 6) in Sky Blue (21), Beige (03), and Light Purple (17).
- Thinner Yarn – I’m using Hobbii Friends 8/8 (Light 3) in Lilac (63) and Baby Pink (51) for the embroidery details. I’m also using Icy Blue (76) to sew the Face and Belly to the Body and Cream (04) to sew the Horns to the top of the Head.
