Succulents Amigurumi Crochet Pattern Collection

This 23-page pattern collection contains detailed descriptions and photos to help you create 5 different succulents and the soil and will require you to have crochet knowledge. The pattern is in English and written in US crochet terminology.


Materials needed to create both items:


  • 2.5 mm Crochet Hook
  • Scissors
  • Darning Needle
  • Stitch Marker

  • Large Glass Jar or Large Shallow Bowl
  • Aquarium Pebbles or Pea Gravel
  • Optional: Decorative Rocks, Small Figurines, Moss

  • Polyfil or Scrap Yarn for stuffing
  • 3.25 inch Terracotta Pot

Sedum Adolphii (aka Golden Glow)

  • Paintbox Yarns Cotton DK in Lime Green
  • Thick Crafting Wire or Large Paper Clip
  • Small Paintbrush
  • Water
  • Dark Green, Light Brown, & Red Acrylic Paint
  • Cup or Bowl (to mix the paint)
  • Scrap Cloth (to soak up excess paint)

 Echeveria Imbricata aka “Blue Rose”

  • Paintbox Yarns Cotton DK in Slate Green

 Zebra Plant

  • Paintbox Yarns Cotton DK in Racing Green & Lime Green
  • White Embroidery Thread
  • Small Paintbrush
  • Water
  • Dark Green & Dark Brown Acrylic Paint
  • Cup or Bowl (to mix the paint)
  • Scrap Cloth (to soak up excess paint)

 String of Pearl

  • Paintbox Yarns Cotton DK in Grass Green
  • 1 x Soil Plush with 3.25 inch Terracotta Pot

 Bunny Ears Cactus

  • Paintbox Yarns Cotton DK in Grass Green, Lime, Fudge & Vintage Pink (or colour of your choice)

Terminology used in these patterns:

st(s): stitch(es)
ch: chain
sc: single crochet
dc: double crochet
inc: two single crochet in one stitch
dec: invisible decrease, single crochet two stitches together through the front loops only
sl st: slip stitch
BLO: crochet only in the back loops (loop away from you) of each stitch
(…) x # : repeat anything in the parenthesis however many times the number indicates
[#]: total number of stitches for that row
#sc: one sc in the following # stitches
