Amigurumi Japanese Souffle Pancakes Crochet Pattern Notes

The difficulty level of this pattern is Intermediate.

This pattern is written in US crochet terminology. The finished Pancakes measures to be roughly 15 cm (5.75 in) tall.

I used Hobbii’s Honey Bunny yarn for the pancakes and Hobbii’s Friends Cotton 8/8 for the toppings. You can use any yarn you’d like but just keep in mind that the proportions work best if you are using Super Bulky (6) yarn for the pancakes and Medium (3) yarn for the toppings.

For this pattern, I used 45g Nougat (09), 35g Oat Milk (03), and 20g Caramel (14). Please keep in mind that the exact amount of yarn you use will depend on your personal tension and the type of stitch you use.

You’ll find the 10-page PDF crochet pattern in my shop. The pattern includes a helpful notes and guides section, lots of photos, and links to helpful video tutorials. The pattern also includes information on the yarn/hook sizes my testers used when testing the pattern.
