Hi friends! Ever since I first designed the patterns for the original Flu-ouise toys in 2020, people have been asking me for the melted version of Kuchi Kopi.
No one really talks about it, but designing something that is intentionally ugly and asymmetrical is not as easy as it seems. It all felt very daunting, so I just kept pushing it off.
Fast forward to 2026, I received yet another request. This time, I made the decision to finally sit down and design this pattern. After months of failed attempts and redesigns, the pattern is finally ready!!!

You’ll find the PDF pattern in my shop now!
Melted Kuchi Kopi Amigurumi Crochet Pattern
The difficulty level of this pattern is Advanced. There are a few techniques for shaping that require a little more experience.
This pattern is written in US crochet terminology. The completed melted Kuchi Kopi (if you use similar yarn to me) measures to be approximately 4 in (10.15 cm) tall.
I used Paintbox Yarns Cotton Aran to make my melted Kuchi Kopi. The yarn itself tends to split slightly, but the available colour choices and the stitch definition are great. You can also use any yarn as long as you correspond your hook to the weight of your yarn. For this pattern, I used approximately 42g of Lime Green yarn.
Please keep in mind that the exact amount of yarn you use will depend on your personal tension and the type of stitch you use.
You’ll find the 11-page PDF crochet pattern in my shop. The pattern includes a helpful notes and guides section, lots of photos, and links to helpful video tutorials. The pattern also includes information on the yarn/hook sizes my testers used when testing the pattern.

Melted (Evil) Kuchi Kopi Amigurumi Crochet (Pattern Only)
Meet Melted Kuchi Kopi. He’s been through quite a lot at the hands of the Belcher family. His dunk in the toilet and his sauna session in the oven was a bit rough, so he’s not in the forgiving mood.
