Meet Bobbi the Yeti! She’s a not-so-abominable little snow cutie who loves nothing more than snack time. Her absolute favourite treat is fish-flavoured potato chips, though she’ll happily settle for a fresh fish if chips aren’t around. After a good munch, Bobbi’s tummy gets extra round and cuddly — making her the perfect cozy companion. You’ll find the pattern in my shop!

This pattern is designed to be worked with faux fur yarn for maximum cuddliness.
This pattern actually took me a while to create because I was trying to come up with a yarn selection guide for working with faux fur yarn. If you’ve ever used faux fur yarn, you’ll know that the way they categorize yarn weight (thickness) for faux fur yarn is all over the place. The guide I’ve included in this pattern will help you determine which yarns to use together.
Yeti Abominable Snowman Amigurumi Crochet Pattern Notes
This an intermediate pattern, mainly because faux fur yarn can be difficult to work with. However, you can also just use acrylic or wool yarn and brush them out to create a faux fur effect.
This pattern is written US crochet terminology. The finished Yeti (if you use similar yarn to me) measures to be approximately 9.25in (23.5 cm) tall.
