Spring Easter Bunny/Bear Basket Crochet (Pattern Only)

Difficulty Level: Intermediate

Materials:

• Hobbii Bungee Mini Yarn or other super bulky (6) yarn that is suitable for home decor– 4 skeins of Cream (04), 1 skein each of the following: Orchid (15), Rose (05), Curry (11), Dusty Green (09). Each skein of yarn is 60m (66yds).
• 0mm Crochet Hook – Adjust the hook size according to your own tension
• Scissors
• Darning Needle
• Locking Stitch Markers
• Sewing Pins (to help with sewing)
• Fabric Glue – I use Gorilla Fabric Glue
• Hot Glue Gun & Glue Gun Sticks Refill
• Armature Wire (18-gauge/1mm) – You can substitute with floral wire if you are sizing down your yarn.
• Pliers and Wire Cutter
• Thinner Yarn than your main yarn – in a colour that matches the colour of yarn you’re using for your bunny.
• Clear Craft Glue – I use Aleene’s Clear Gel Tacky Glue
• Felt – Dark Grey, White, Pink
• Tweezers (optional)

ch: chain
sl st: slip stitch
sc: single crochet (work through the top loops of each stitch)
wc: waistcoat stitch (work a sc through the post of each stitch)
wc-inc: waistcoat stitch increase (work two waistcoat stitch into the post of the same st)
hdc: half double crochet
dc: double crochet
dc-inc: double crochet increase (work two double crochet stitches into the same st/ch)
BLO: crochet only in the back loops (loop away from you) of each stitch
(…) x #: repeat anything in the parenthesis however many times the number indicates
[#]: total number of stitches for that row
#sc/wc/wc-inc: one sc/wc/wc-inc in the following # stitches
sc#: sc # of times indicated in the same stitch – note that sc3 (3 sc in one st) and 3sc (one sc into each of the next 3 sts) are not the same.
{x, y} in the next st/ch: work everything in the parenthesis into the same st/ch
