Difficulty Level: Easy/Intermediate
Materials needed to create a 10 in (24.5 cm) tall toy:
- Paintbox Yarns Cotton Aran in Light Caramel, Rose Red, Sailor Blue, and Coffee Bean
- 3.5mm Crochet Hook
- 6mm Safety Eyes and Matching Backings
- Darning Needle
- Locking Stitch Markers (Optional)
- Polyfil Stuffing or Scrap Yarn (If you want to go for full accuracy, you could use cotton balls, but they’re not the best material to work with and can make your toy very lumpy.)
- Black Embroidery Thread
I used Paintbox Yarns Cotton Aran to create Mr. Frond’s Therapy Doll Portion Control Joel from Bob’s Burgers, but you can use any cotton yarn as long as you correspond your hook to the weight of your yarn.
For this pattern, I used roughly 50g of Light Caramel (1 skein of yarn), 30g of Sailor Blue (> half a skein of yarn), 30g of Rose Red (> half a skein of yarn), and 15g of Coffee Bean (< half a skein).
