Difficulty Level: Easy/Intermediate
Materials needed to create a 1.75 in (4.5 cm) tall (3”/7.5cm for the latte) ornament:
- WeCrochet Shine Sport Yarn
- WeCrochet Tuff Puff in White (or White Wool Roving/Super Bulky Yarn)
- 2.75mm Crochet Hook
- Scissors
- Darning Needle
- Locking Stitch Markers (Optional)
- Pins
- Polyfil Stuffing or Scrap Yarn
- Optional: Essential Oils (I’m using Peppermint and Sweet Orange), Whole Spices (Cloves & Cinnamon), and Coffee Beans to scent the ornaments.
I used WeCrochet Shine Sport Yarn to create these ornaments, but you can use any yarn as long as you correspond your hook to the weight of your yarn.
For the marshmallow details in the hot cocoa, I used WeCrochet Tuff Puff in white, but you can just use some wool roving or super bulky yarn for this instead. Just roll the wool roving gently between your palms to create a thick noodle.
List of Colours I Used
Hot Cocoa: 2g of Coffee, 12g of Clarity, and a little bit of Sailor.
Mulled Wine: 2g of Currant, 12g of Serrano, a little bit of Sweet Potato, and a little bit of Cream.
Latte: 2g of Willow, 12g of Peapod, 2g of White, and a little bit of Coffee.
