Materials needed to create a 5.5 inch (14 cm) tall toy:
- Knitpicks Shine Sport Yarn in Wallaby and Cosmopolitan
- 3.0 mm Crochet Hook
- 6mm Safety Eyes with Matching Backings
- Polyfil for stuffing
- Scissors
- Darning Needle
- Pins
- Elmer’s Glue (or any glue that dries clear)
- Water
- Sponge Brush
- White String for Hanging
- Optional: Foam Board for Blocking
Terminology used in this pattern:
st(s): stitch(es)
ch: chain
sl st: slip stitch
sc: single crochet
hdc: half double crochet
dc: double crochet
inc: two single crochet in one stitch
dec: invisible decrease, single crochet two stitches together through the front loops only
sk st: skip the next stitch
(…) x # : repeat anything in the parenthesis however many times the number indicates
[#]: total number of stitches for that row
#sc/sl st/hdc/dc: one sc/sl st/hdc/dc in the following # stitches
