Assembly
- Pin the Shoulder Armour with the curved part on top over the shoulders. The Coffee coloured Shoulder Armour should be over the left shoulder, and the Willow one should be over the right shoulder. Sew the top part in place, leaving the 3 sides unsewn to allow it to be flappy.

- Pin the Thigh Armour onto the thighs and sew all around. Willow on the left thigh and Coffee on the right.

- Pin the Hip Armour onto the side of the hips, with the curved part of the Armour on the top and starting at Row 8 of the Body. Sew into place, making sure to only sew the top curved part to the hips, leaving the 3 sides unsewn to allow the armour to be flappy.

- Slip the belt onto the body by lifting the arms first and wiggling the belt onto the body.
- Pin the Helmet Top Detail across the head from left to right. Sew in place
- Pin the Visor onto the front of the head, making sure it is centered. Sew in place.
- Pin the Ear Pieces to the sides of the head, over the Helmet Top Detail and sew in place.
The following steps are optional, but I think doing them will add some nice detail to your Mandalorian:
- With the Teal wool roving, felt in the top half of the Willow Shoulder Armour.
- With Black and Grey wool roving, felt the Crest onto the Chest Armour.

- Felt a couple lines into the belt with the Grey wool roving to add details.Part One (of two) of the free Mandalorian Amigurumi Crochet Pattern.
- Put the Cape on, and you’re done!

you say that this pattern 1 & 2 are free and yet there is no way to copy the pattern. I appreciate that you have a version without the ads etc. And you say for a donation of $6 we can have a copy of the pattern without the ads. When I hear donations, it implies that the amount to give is up to the giver. But please don’t say the pattern is free when it’s not. I’m not saying you shouldn’t get a profit for your work but be honest up front.
Hi Linda,
I believe that if you are able to create an amigurumi toy without spending any money by visiting my site, then the pattern is free. This is a format that sites I have previously used when I first started with amigurumi used. I never had a problem with it because they’re providing something to me that they did not have to for no charge.
Never in my patterns have I used the word “donation”, because like you said, you’re not setting the amount being given. However, the option is there for people who would like to support me in the same way you would support a traditional media artist selling their prints that they have set a price for.
I disabled right click and highlighting on my site because I have experienced theft before and I put a lot of hard work into my patterns.
Hope this explanation helps you understand!
thank you very much/
thank you so much for the pattern.
Thank you so much for the pattErN. I just made this for my son and cant wait to give it to him ❤️
I am confused about the button and strap for the cape. It doesn’t get mentioned in the assembly part. What happens to it?
Also what does the felting detail on the belt look like? Is there a photo?
Thanks for the pattern!!!!!
Hi Shandra,
You work into the strap to create the cape. For the button, you just sew it onto the end of the strap opposite of the loop. I don’t have any photos of the details on the belt, but I just embroidered a few vertical silver lines on the belt in random spots.
Hope this helps!
Abby
