Whether you love it or hate it, candy corn is an iconic Halloween treat. I’m personally not a huge fan of the flavour of candy corn, but I love how cute it looks. So whenever Halloween time swings by, I always head to the bulk store to buy just a handful of candy corn. Having a couple of them on hand puts me into full-on Halloween mode; which is why when I was brainstorming for my Halloween tree, I knew I needed to include a Candy Corn amigurumi ornament.
Free Halloween Candy Corn Amigurumi Crochet Ornament Pattern

I used the Knitpicks Shine Sport yarn for all of the ornaments in my Halloween collection because I love how smooth it crochets up. The yarn also looks slightly glossy, which makes the ornaments look a little bit more polished. For this particular ornament, I used the colours Grapefruit (orange), Dandelion (yellow), and Cream. I love how vibrant the colours are and that it really makes the ornament stand out in the tree. The finished Candy Corn ornament measures to be about 4 inches tall.
The difficulty level of this pattern is Easy and this pattern is written in US crochet terminology.

I’m a little confused about the candy corn is it done in rounds or rows
It’s done in rounds! You work into one side of the chain (insert hook through the centre of the chain and out the back, going under only one leg of the chain). When it says “continue on the other side”, you’re working into the other leg of the chain. Hope this helps!
